News - Solo exhibition by M Florine Démosthène, entitled Always in All Ways comes to CEAM

The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum will kick off the Fall 2020 season with a solo exhibition by M. Florine Démosthène, entitled “Always in All Ways.” The exhibition will be on view from Sep. 6 through Oct. 22, 2022 and will include twelve new mixed media works on paper and new sculptures. Démosthène will give a walkthrough of the exhibition in conjunction with First Friday Art Walk on Friday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m.

News - Karen Hampton Exhibition Coming to Crisp-Ellert Art Museum

We are pleased to announce the exhibition Karen Hampton: Origins, opening at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum at Flagler College on Friday, March 4. Hampton’s textile-based work explores stories of the African American diaspora, as well as her ancestral ties to Northeast Florida. The artist will give a walkthrough of the exhibition on Friday, March 4 at 5pm, followed by an opening reception until 8pm.

News - Crisp-Ellert Art Museum Announces Collaboration with Embassy of Spain to Bring Spain-based Artist and Writer Pablo Vindel to Flagler College Campus

We are pleased to announce a new collaborative initiative between the CEAM Artist Residency at Flagler College and the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington D.C. In March 2022, we will jointly host and welcome to campus Valencia, Spain-based artist, and writer Pablo Vindel as one of our Spring artists-in-residence. Related programs include an artist talk on Monday, March 7 at 6 pm in the Flagler Room, located in the Ponce Building. This event is free and open to the public.

News - Crisp-Ellert Art Museum Announces Jillian Mayer Exhibition

The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum and Flagler College are pleased to announce Miami-based Jillian Mayer’s forthcoming exhibition New Sincerity 2.0. The exhibition will open on Tuesday, January 18 with a walkthrough with the artist at 5 pm, followed by an opening reception until 7 pm. This event is free and open to the public, and masks are required. New Sincerity 2.0 continues through February 24.
