WROUGHTON is putting on its very own festive story walk this month. It was launched by the parish council on Friday at the Willow Brook Gardens and will be running until Christmas. Wroughton councillor Nathanael Hooper and librarian Paula Daws have been working hard to make this possible and to get children and families outdoors. To join all that needs to be done is to follow the numbered story boards around Willow-Brook Gardens right next to the community Christmas tree outside the Ellendune Community Centre. A spokeswoman for the council said: This little bit of Christmas magic to cheer everyone up is a joint project between Wroughton Parish Council and Wroughton Community Library. We hope that residents young and old can enjoy the story and beautiful illustrations we’ve chosen for you.
