What Baker really needed, she said, was a CT scan of her head. Her local hospital had a working CT scanner, but it wasn’t available to her. The reason: her size. Even though she was “well under” the scanner machine’s advertised weight limit of 625 pounds, Baker wrote, it still couldn’t handle someone with her frame.
