Racers fall to Austin Peay in first game of conference play

In their first conference game of the season, the Murray State Racers lost a close contest to the Austin Peay State University Lady Govs by a score of 64-60.
The deciding factor of the game was the 26 turnovers and 25 personal fouls from the Racers. Austin Peay had 21 points off of turnovers in the game thanks to the amount of turnovers from Murray State.
The first quarter was low scoring as neither team could knock down many shots. Murray State was 5-12 from the field in the quarter, while Austin Peay was 4-17. However, the Racers were 3-3 from three point range while Austin Peay was just 1-7.
