JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – With the Covid-19 coronavirus, the Hoop Shoot for the 2019-2020, yes 2019-2020 year will be a one-of-a-kind year.
It was official back in February 2021 that the Elks National Hoot Shoot office wanted to finish the 2019-2020 year, because there were 4 of the 12 Regions that completed the contest last year and the 2021 (49th annual) will have an “ ” in the annals of Hoop Shoot history meaning there will be no National Champions for 2021.
Region 2 which consists of MT, ND, and SD had two Regional Champs in each State and of course, they live on opposite ends of each State, one representing the Dickinson Lodge and the other representing the Jamestown Lodge.
