klobuchar. i want you to list ing what she told jake tapper. recent comments suggest that you don t believe mayor buttigieg is qualified too be the president, am i reading that wrong? yes. i don t think i want to dwell on various press articles, but i ll say this, i think any of the candidates that were on that debate stage were more qualified than the president of the united states right now. more qualified than trump? mayor pete do you think buttigieg is qualified, period? yes. okay. but let me explain why i think i m the better candidate. i m the one from the midwest that s won in a statewide race over and over again, and that s not true of mayor pete, that s just a fact. focusing here on my fellow women senators, senator harris, senator warren and myself. do i think that we would be standing on that stage if we had the experience that he had? no, i don t.
maybe he wants to create biden care. this is an issue we ve seen come out forcefully. this is where we see him start to drive that criticism of elizabeth warren and medicare for all, calling it gymnastics in terms of her saying that she could pay for all this without raising any facts in the middle class. that brings up a second point we should look out for as well. it s a tight race in iowa, a very top tier of those candidates. will we see joe biden criticize his fellow democrats. will we see him talk about elizabeth warren. is there room for on electability and an experience argument that joe biden might make. buttigieg has been soaring in the polls, is that something that biden will want to rah dress tonight. more than anything, he wants to connect with people in this room and sway their support. thank you, again. the live presidential town hall,

i didn t hear it with elitism. that gets thrown around to men and women equally. when you call a woman angry, it s obvious how people are going to take that, joe biden has had a number of issues in using some engendered language when talking about his rivals. he told elizabeth warren he got votes for her when she was talking about her work. you did a good job at your job, every woman watching saw that and recognized that moment from their own workplace. this is not unfamiliar to us, that s why it s a problem for joe biden. we re in an unprecedented moment right now, in terms of opportunity and dull threats to women. we really need to see a nominee who gets it, and continue comments like this over and over again, really make us nervous. on to another woman who would like to be president, amy
