Phyllis Dinda
TORRINGTON – Phyllis (Geremia) Dinda, 61 years old, of Torrington, adored wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 18, 2021, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of James Dinda of Torrington.
Phyllis was the daughter of Lorenzo Geremia of Berlin, Conn., and of the late Priscilla (Greene). She was born and raised in New Britain, along with her brothers Larry and James Geremia, and among her large and very supportive extended family.
She later moved to Torrington with her lifelong love James Dinda, where they raised their three cherished children. She retired from Apple Rehabilitation where she was a bookkeeper at the Wolcott Hall facility in Torrington.
