Burlington students return to classrooms after a month of full remote learning

After just more than a month of full remote learning, Burlington teachers and students returned to their classrooms Monday as the district resumed its hybrid learning model.
Despite having only three days of in-person learning left before the start of winter break, the partial return to face-to-face instruction was a welcome relief for many a student, staff and parent. It started off OK until it got longer and longer, Brionna Davis said after walking her 8-year-old daughter, Aubrionna Lewis, to her third-grade classroom at Grimes Elementary School.
