SHERBROOKE Of the various public health recommendations for classrooms to be made safer during the COVID-19 pandemic, one that seems to have inspired teachers is holding classes outside, according to a study by the Université de Sherbrooke.
Getting students outside school walls can give them more room to spread out, and the breeze outside lowers the risk of infection. Plus, according to teachers interviewed by researchers, they have the effect of getting children moving and less sedentary.
