The High Court has dismissed an application filed by over 2,000 Nigerians seeking to protect their millions, which was part of the Sh6.6 billion frozen last year, over fears of money laundering.
The Assets Recovery Agency claimed that shell companies were also incorporated in Kenya for purposes of taking advantage of the liberal financial system to launder funds.
Kandon Technologies, a Nigerian tech company, has been cleared of money laundering and card fraud allegations laid against it by Kenyan authorities earlier in July, according to documents seen by TechCabal.
