Artist Elise Perpignano is hard at work painting the Centennial Tunnel mural. The mural will commemorate the Mann Gulch fire and the smokejumpers who died in the fire.
Perpignano, is a lifelong Helena resident who also designed and painted the Centennial Trail tunnel under Last Chance Gulch, connecting Memorial Park and Centennial Park.
