Herbert Koehler Strand 97, of Fredericksburg, Texas, Formerly of Duluth, Minnesota, died Sunday October 29, 2023, at his home. He was born June 18, 1926 in Los Angeles California, to parents George Ewing and Elise Koehler. He was later adopted by Alvin, and Helga Strand. Herb grew up in Bayport, Minnesota. He graduated from Stillwater High School where He played on the State Championship Football team, of 1943. He graduated from Augsburg College.
