AVON LAKE, OH Three Avon Lake High students have been named National Merit Finalists.
The three students are John Jack Fazio, Emmet Fink, and Grace Osoteo. The trio have an opportunity to compete for National Merit Scholarships, worth more than $30 million. Scholarship winners will be announced later this year.
More than 1.5 million students enter the National Merit Scholarship Program annually. Only 16,000 students become semifinalists. Approximately 15,000 students become finalists. Scholarship winners will be announced in late March.
