In an act against “sexualization,” the German women’s gymnastics team wore full-body uniforms during their Olympic routines. The German Gymnastics Federation officially branded the statement as against “sexualization” and that it is about feeling comfortable.
“It’s about what feels comfortable, we wanted to show that every woman, everybody, should decide what to wear,” German gymnast Elisabeth Seitz said in a statement.

Vaya, vaya, que hemos estado plagados de grandes sorpresas en Tokio 2020 y un ejemplo de eso es el equipo femenino de gimnasia de Alemania, que determinó utilizar uniformes que cubría todo el cuerpo en vez del tradicional leotardo de pierna alta que es usado en la mayoría de las competencias de este deporte.
La Federación Alemana de Gimnasia determinó levantar la voz en contra de la “Sexualización” en el deporte: “el objetivo es presentarse estéticamente, sin sentirse incómodo”, explicaron en un mensaje presentado en abril pasado en Suiza.
