Resignation of Anthony Vernon and Appointment of Elisabeth Sandoval-Little -
MENLO PARK, Calif. (BUSINESS WIRE) Intersect ENT, Inc. (Nasdaq: XENT), a global ear, nose and throat (“ENT”) medical technology leader dedicated to transforming patient care, today announced that Anthony Vernon has resigned from the Intersect ENT Board of Directors on March 31, 2021. Mr. Vernon has served on the Intersect ENT Board since 2015 and is resigning to pursue other interests. Subsequent to Mr. Vernon’s resignation, the Intersect ENT Board today appointed Elisabeth Sandoval-Little to the Company’s Board. Both changes are effective immediately.

The presence of the S’Pekin Dragons at the Illinois High School Association state series speech competition has become an increasingly familiar theme in recent years.
Members of Pekin Community High School’s speech team qualified for state competition last year and in 2019. After last week’s sectional competition, three S’Pekin Dragons were selected for this weekend’s state series.
After qualifying for last year’s event in Original Oratory and Informative Speaking, PCHS senior Elisabeth Sandoval is returning to the tournament as sectional champion in the Original Oratory and Prose Reading categories.
“My ultimate goal for this year has been to make it into a state final round,” said Sandoval. “Having won both of my events at the sectional tournament this year, a feat which I did not accomplish last year, I feel more confident and prepared than ever going into this weekend, and I m excited to show the speech world what I can do.
