(KFVS) - Scattered snow showers are moving out of the area this evening and colder air is moving in.

We will see winds out of the northwest as well causing the wind chill to be around 10 degrees cold than the actual air temperature.
Readings will fall through the 20s this evening.
Lows by morning will be in the upper teens and lower 20s in most areas with a few protected valleys dropping into the middle teens.

(KFVS) - This afternoon will be mainly dry, but a lot of clouds will hang around the area.
High temperatures will top out in the mid-40s north to mid-50s south.
Laura Wibbenmeyer says tonight, much of the Heartland will drop right below freezing. So as snowfall moves in Wednesday morning, there could be some scattered slick spots in our western counties.

First Alert: Dry afternoon, snowfall possible overnight

(KFVS) - A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Reynolds, Wayne, Carter, Ripley, and Butler Counties in Southeast Missouri for the threat of over an inch of snow overnight into tomorrow morning.
Clouds continue to increase and rain and snow will begin to fall across our far weather counties after midnight.
Areas in the Winter Weather Advisory could see over an inch and a half of snow before morning.
Lows will be in the lower and middle 30s.
First Alert: Cold front moving in, freezing rain likely Wednesday night

(KFVS) - A cold front is heading towards the Heartland.
The front will bring rain to all of the Heartland tomorrow with a chance of freezing rain for parts of the area tomorrow night into Thursday morning.
This evening, clouds will continue to thicken across the area.
There maybe a sprinkle or two, but most areas will remain dry.
Temperatures will remain steady for most of the evening before warming towards morning.
