MORE than two dozen complaints against council members in Ceredigion were made in 2021/22, a report outlines, with complaints over social media postings “top of the list”.
A LOG of decisions made by Ceredigion County Council’s ‘gold command’ is now available to view online and will be updated when necessary. Since March last year and Covid-19 lockdown, temporary delegated powers have been given to the council’s chief executive and gold command leadership group – made up of senior officers and councillors – to make urgent decisions relating to the authority’s response to the pandemic. This was reviewed in October and is due for a further review shortly, monitoring officer Elin Prysor told members of the overview and scrutiny coordinating committee on Wednesday (January 20). The first log of decisions made up to September 30 was published on the council’s website at the end of November, including the record of the urgent decisions ‘preparing for Covid-19’ and ‘continuing to respond to Covid-19’.
