The Milage Choice Program kicks off later this year and it's optional for Virginians that have electric, hybrid or fuel-efficient vehicles that also pay the state's highway use fee. Joining the program would mean that drivers would only have to pay for the miles they drive instead of the fee at registration renewal. Eligible Virginians can sign up before renewing their vehicle registration and you can do so beginning on July 1st.
