JNU To Accept National Eligibility Test Instead Of Entrance Exams For PhD

To help students with one national entrance test, UGC has decided that score of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC and CSIR can be used by the Universities/HEIs for PhD admission in place of entrance test.

BM Education: 4-year undergrads can get direct PhD entry via NET

To qualify for a PhD programme with or without a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), candidates with 4-year undergraduate degrees must have a minimum of 75 percent aggregate marks or an equivalent grade. Presently, NET candidates must hold a master’s degree with at least 55 percent marks.
