90 Day Fiance: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg reportedly called police in South Korea yesterday to report Jihoon Lee and his mom Jung Lee for alleged child abuse.
It comes amid the pair’s ongoing custody battle, with the latest details shared by Jihoon’s GoFundMe organizer, Amanda Crosby, following a conversation with his lawyer Joseph Alamilla.
90 Day Fiance: Deavan Clegg ‘reports Jihoon Lee to South Korean authorities’
According to Crosby, Deavan contacted South Korean police to report her former husband for alleged child abuse, including her ex-mother-in-law, Jung Lee, in the complaint as well.
Jihoon later revealed that he actually majored in “cartoons” and that the last time he created something was ten years ago. Now, it seems Deavan’s ex-husband passed along the skill to his only son. It’ll be interesting to see Taeyang improve his drawing skills even more with the help of Jihoon in the future.
Jihoon desperate to see his son again
Meanwhile, Jihoon Lee and his team have been working hard on hitting their GoFundMe goal as soon as possible. The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way celeb admitted he was hesitant to push through with the fundraiser, especially with the criticism he’s been getting online.
The GoFundMe claims to be for Jihoon’s legal fees
The GoFundMe fundraiser is titled International Custody Battle and the purpose is to raise funds to help Jihoon pay for any legal fees he may incur in an attempt to gain custody of his son.
The fundraiser description states, “Please help Jihoon in the custody battle of his wonderful son, Taeyang. Their story garnered international attention from US based television show, and now he needs our help ensuring his rights as a father are fully exercised.”
As of publication, the fundraiser has raised $55.
During a conversation with blogger John Yates on YouTube, the question was raised as to whether or not this GoFundMe was legitimate or a scam. The panel pointed out that Jihoon wasn’t tagged in the marketing for the fundraiser.
