One killed, five injured in clash over UP election in Madaripur Star Digital Report Star Digital Report A man was killed and five others were injured in a clash between the supporters of two chairmen candidates of Kadirpur union under Shibchar upazila in Madaripur. The deceased was identified as Elias Dhali, 45, of the upazila. He died at home as he left the hospital fearing further attack. Police and locals said at least six persons were injured when supporters of two chairmen candidates Jahangir Bepari and Moiya Talukdar locked in clashes with locally-made weapons on Wednesday night, following an altercation between two supporters.
