A Komodo dragon reportedly attacked an Indonesian construction worker that was working to help build a $6.5 million “Jurassic Park”. The park is inspired on an island where the world’s largest lizards have been roaming for thousands of years. Elias Agas, the laborer, was rushed to a hospital by a speedboat from Rinca Island in Komodo National Park after one of the fast lizards attacked him. The 46-year-old was bitten on the left leg and right wrist last week. Around 4000 Komodo Dragons live on a cluster of islands in the eastern part of Indonesia.

Construction Worker Grievously Injured in Attack by Komodo Dragon at ‘Jurassic Park’ Resort in Indonesia FOLLOW US ON: A construction worker has been seriously wounded after he was attacked by a Komodo dragon at a controversial Jurassic Park resort being built in Indonesia. According to a DailyMail report, the worker later identified as Elias Agas, was attacked by the reptile while he was helping to build the £4.8 million resort (approx. Rs 480,605,754.50) which apparently is inspired by Steven Spielberg’s film Jurassic Park. Local media reports quoted that the 46-year-old worker was immediately rushed to the hospital, as the giant lizard ‘tore several parts of his body’.

The worker was helping to build the multi-million-rand resort dubbed Jurassic  Park according to reports.  The dragon allegedly “tore several parts of his body” before the man was rushed off the island by speedboat to a nearby hospital. The resort is home to around 1000 of the remaining 3000 Komodo Dragons around the world. According to eye-witnesses, the animal was only a few metres away from them before it attacked.
