On Sunday, November 7, at 3:30 p.m., the Elgin Master Chorale (EMC) opens its 75th season with Brahms’ German Requiem, arranged for piano four hands. The work launched the Elgin Choral Union, later EMC, in 1947 when 192 singers from multiple choirs came together to create a grand performance worthy of Brahms’ masterpiece. <br/><br/>EMC will perform Brahms’ German Requiem, in English, on the stage of the Blizzard Theatre at Elgin Community College.
