BRAMPTON has hailed the success of its Christmas Elf Trail with scores of children taking part. Excited youngsters throughout the area have been following the trail and spotting the elusive elves in homes, gardens and businesses throughout the town since the beginning of December. Clues have been given for their location, so children could find them by cracking a code for a chance to win special prizes. The event will run until Wednesday, December 23. The trail is the idea of the Brampton Acting Together Group, and the parish council, to “keep the magic of Christmas alive” – after the festive lights switch-on event was cancelled because of Covid-19.
