YOUNG elf performers have taken their talents from the stage to the streets for a cheeky Christmas countdown. Prominence Academy Elfcapades adventure slots have proved a big hit with local youngsters and have now all sold out. Lauren Mortimer, who runs the performing arts school with best friend Lynette Beaton, has given young students the chance to shine through lockdown. They put together elf sketches, rehearsing at a distance in the Gourock Park Amphitheatre, and have now taken them into gardens across Inverclyde. Lynette said: It has been great festive fun and we had to extend our performances. The kids get a virtual visit from Santa and then watch from the window as the elves come into their gardens.
