Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino played host to Hoosier Champions Night on Friday (Oct. 14) and the 15-race program provided a fitting conclusion to the 2022 Indiana Sires Stakes season.
Harrah’s Hoosier Park offers its richest night of the season with the annual Hoosier Champions card on Friday (Oct. 14). Indiana’s finest will compete for over $2.3 million in purses over the course of the 15-race card with eight $250,000 Indiana Sire Stakes Super Finals for two- and three-year-olds and four $70,000 Sire Stakes Finals for the aged competitors highlighting the stellar program.
Racing returned to Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Wednesday (Oct. 5) with a 14-race card loaded with Indiana Sire Stakes action. With Hoosier Champions looming just over a week away on Oct. 14, it was the last chance to earn valuable points to make it into the Indiana Sire Stakes Super Finals for the Indiana standouts.
Indiana Sire Stakes action continued on Thursday (Sept. 15) at Harrah’s Hoosier Park with the sophomore trotters competing in the seventh leg of eight.
