showers and snow in the higher elevations. nothing close to what we just had. the same impulse, we ll track that across the country. still much of arizona dealing with rainfall. and higher elevation snowfall and certainly back in through colorado, western rockies, likely to pick up decent snow during the day time today. keep in mind, avalanche risk is relatively high across these areas, especially the peaks over 1,000 feet. this system moving through south dakota shouldn t be an issue. you see the winter weather advisories, one to three inches. not huge snowfall amounts. one warning expires in central maine at 7:00 a.m. the system pushing one little wave of snow showers. so what s already on the ground, maybe add a little less than an inch or so around boston. enough to make travel slick. keep that in mind. also really breezy conditions there. notice the temperatures this morning, 31 in boston. 32, new york. wind chills certainly feeling it through the afternoon. lynn, we ll take a clo
l.a. county mountains, 24. it s not just one or two-counties, look at these places. san diego in the city, 6.79. a few of the areas outside the metro area still upwards of 10 inches. notice the difference there in the mountains, 18 inches. the big winner there, san bernardino county mountains. so the biggest issue there has been all the cleanup that now has to go on with a lot of the rock slides and a lot of the other issues we ve had. of course now we finally have a break. and that s the piece i really want to mention. across much of california, going to be a dry day. still a few clouds in place. a few sprinkles early this morning. we re setting up for a decent day for the cleanup effort that s really to take place. once we get into sunday, we still see up thatter level low that is part of the setup that is leading to that atmospheric river into the area. by sunday could bring in more showers and snow in the higher elevations. nothing close to what we just had. the same impulse, we ll
