Tigers Fall to No 13 Miami in Second Round of ACC Tournament

CARY, N.C. –  The 12th seeded and No. 42 Clemson women’s tennis team (16-12, 3-10 ACC) fought hard against No. 13 (5) Miami (15-6, 9-4 ACC) but fell 4-0 in the second round of the ACC Tournament on Thursday. Several Tigers had opportunities to win their singles matches, but were unable to secure victories prior to the Hurricanes’ match-clinching point. This was the second consecutive season in which Clemson advanced to the second round of the ACC Tournament. The Tigers await their postseason fate with a 16-12 record and a 3-10 ACC resume.
