The Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom in the Eti-Osa Local Community Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State, Oba Saheed Ademola, has dissociated himself from the ongoing paternity saga involving Liam Aloba, son of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. Some social media influencers including one Abosede Comfort Ilesanmi, a Nigerian based in Germany, and one Olubukola Jesse, popularly known as Bukky Jesse, who lives in the United Kingdom, have reportedly been using TikTok to spread information that the monarch is the biological father of Mohbad’s son.
In a decisive move, the Supreme Court of Nigeria recently stripped the Lagos State government of the authority to grant land titles in waterway areas. The judgment was in an appeal brought before it by the National Inland Waterways Authority, Nigerian Maritime Standard and Safety Agency, Minister of Mines and Steel Development and Minister of Transport.
