know, this is not supposed to be something that allows you to have cover of darkness. but, you know, former president trump would not be the first president who has tried to use a rather expansive view of executive privilege, depending on what was happening. i don t think we ve ever seen it quite this expansive. certainly, we ve never seen it try to be extended to somebody who is not serving in government, which is what he is trying with steve bannon. isn t serving in government, with conversations he had with other people who weren t serving in government. that is an extraordinary claim right there. right. it is an extraordinary claim but, again, it is tested in the courts. we don t know where it ll come out. i think it is important. again, they may get ruled against, and there are a lot of lawyers who think that is the way it ll go, but who knows with the court. the biden administration is appointing the republican secretary of state of washington to an important cybersecurit
i don t think not so much for those voters who are already entrench. look at that joe biden ad he s taking the fight to president donald trump. for folks in the 21st congressional district in new york or around the country, those who support donald trump are saying he fights for us, beyond the policy and those folks paying attention to the horse race, he represents us. for the democrats are they going to go out and take the fight to the republicans and donald trump? culturally. is it important, if voters aren t thinking about impeachment does it matter in terms of election security? if nancy pelosi if they re not successful, can t the president continue to laugh through this and as far as engaging in conduct unscrupulous, keep on cruising? absolutely. that is the scariest things for democrats looking ahead at 2020. the likelihood of trump being removed from office is basically zero. election security matters. it does matter enormously and what we worry about with trump
