this is not surprising. what are they looking for, what do they want to do? i don t know. if we knew that, probably somebody has a better guess than i do. but, you know, in the old days or whatever you can get your hands on. i don t know if that ever changed. ali, is the state department or the fbi intelligence, are they concerned about this that we re sort of losing track of these diplomats? i say diplomats. fsb, whatever, they re spies. this all came to a head last year because it was enough of a concern that the intelligence committees on the hill tried to legislate as part of the intelligence authorization act that the state department and the fbi would crackdown on these russian diplomats traveling. this was obviously in the midst of the election operation. the white house fought them on it. the obama administration did not want them why? that s kind of the running question. there would be decades worth of thesis papers i m sure why the obama administration chose not
