Officials announced Saturday evening the Flatiron Wildfire was 100 percent contained, of a 210 acre blaze in the Pinelands Forest near Elderberry Drive and Jackson Road in Medford.
The June 2023 Allen Road Wildfire in the Bass River State Forest in Ocean County has consumed 5,475 acres while another fire in Medford burned 210 acres.
Another major wildfire is raging through a forest in New Jersey, threatening nearby homes and prompting a large response from local emergency crews Saturday morning.
