Laguna Beach High saw 251 graduates participate in its commencement ceremony on Thursday at Guyer Field. A parade of graduates to Main Beach occurred on Wednesday.
The 57th Laguna Beach Patriots Day Parade on Saturday, March 2 will salute as honorees Grand Marshal Captain Rick Shoemaker; Honored Patriot of the Year Colonel Richard Seitz; Citizen of the Year Karyn Philippsen; Junior Citizens of the Year Elaina Seybold and Tyler Palino; Artist of the Year Mike Tauber and Athlete of the Year Brayden Belden.
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 222 members gathered once again on Nov. 29 to stuff 105 handmade Christmas stockings. Each stocking was filled with cookies, chips, granola bars, beef jerky, socks and cards with Christmas greetings.
