Clover Mama Afrika, Clover's corporate social investment (CSI) project, has been awarded the PMR Diamond Arrow Award for the 15th consecutive year. They have also been selected as a finalist for the African Business Awards. The PMR Awards, which companies and institutions cannot enter, are assessed through a national survey to determine how they are perceived to enhance economic development, growth and stability through their corporate social responsibility programmes and initiatives in South Africa.
The basic need to keep warm is one we all share, even more so in the rural areas where most of the Clover Mama Afrikas operate and run their centres on a daily basis. The beautiful donated blankets arrived just in time to make sure the cold will be kept at bay during the chilly winter days.
After a few trying years, many have realised that it is so important to ensure we have meaningful connections in womanhood and are able to be part of a tribe which ultimately leads to our spirits being strong. Clover Mama Afrika is the epitome of womanhood and spirit, with many Mama Afrika’s working and training together every year, they’ve formed strong bonds and built up an even stronger resilience.
Clover Mama Afrika is ecstatic to be able to celebrate their 21st birthday and 21 years of success and upskilling! What a blessing it is to be able to celebrate 21 years and still be going strong and making a difference in the lives of others.
