japan was hit with a 6.6 magnitude after shock today after the one month anniversary of the giant quake that was followed by a tsunami. there was never any tsunami warning issued for anywhere in the bay area. it hit in the same northeast area that has seen hundreds of after shocks since the massive one on march 11th. japan s government is expanding the evacuation around the nuclear plant. people living within 12 miles of the plant have been ordered to leave because of concerns about radiation in the air. now the government is urging residents of four more communities some more than 20 miles from the plant to leave within a month after high levels of radiation were detected there. it has been one month since the earthquake and tsunami struck. here in the bay area there is a prayer vigil tonight to remember the victims in japan. hundreds are expected in the peace plaza in japantown. it begins at 5:30. a broken water main is effecting more than a dozen homes this morning. it h
