The Evangelical humanitarian charity World Vision is disappointed that an Israeli court sentenced a former employee to more than a decade behind bars on terrorism charges, saying the judgment against him stands in "sharp contrast" to the facts of the case.
The court also sentenced Mr El Halabi, who was held in detention for the past six years amid his prolonged trial, to an additional 18 months of probation.
