There was palpable tension in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, on Monday around the Opolo-okutukutu axis as youths of both communities engaged each other in a melee leaving residents to scamper for their lives. The uproar according to report was caused by an initial report of two lifeless bodies found in Opolo community apparently of the Okutukutu community indigenes.

The Bayelsa State Police Command has confirmed that two persons lost their lives in Monday's violent clash involving the Opolo and Okutukutu communities in the Yenagoa Local Government Area.
