1. Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has ordered telecommunications companies to halt the sale and activation of Subscriber Identification Module (SIM).
In a statement on Wednesday, Director, Public Affairs, Ikechukwu Adinde, said the directive will be in effect until the audit is completed.
2. Unknown gunmen have kidnapped a member representing Nguroje Constituency in the Taraba House of Assembly, Barr. Bashir Mohammed.
Mohammed was abducted from his residence at about 1am, on Wednesday, a family source revealed.
3. The National Assembly has commenced the process of Electoral Act amendment, ahead of the 2023 general election.
