Karachi police arrested two men on Thursday for pretending to be officers of the Inter-Services Intelligence Agency (ISI) from different areas of Karachi. In the first incident, the Saeedabad Police arrested a fake ISI officer on the complaint of a businessman, Yousuf. The suspect was identified as Muhammad Aqib Shahid. The complainant told the police that Shahid had borrowed Rs2.3 million from him and promised to return it within a year. Yousuf said that instead of returning the money, Shahid started threatening him. The complainant said that the suspect told him that he is serving as an ISI major.
