Kvandal earns first FIS Ski Jumping World Cup victory in Ljubno Sunday, 24 January 2021
Norwegian teenager Eirin Maria Kvandal earned her first International Ski Federation (FIS) Ski Jumping World Cup win in Ljubno.
The 19-year-old won in only her second World Cup appearance, having already finished second with Norway in yesterday s team contest.
Kvandal completed jumps of 92.0 metres and 89.0m to finish with 244.2 points.
Her nearest opponent was Ema Klinec of Slovenia, who utilised home advantage to record jumps of 94.0m and 86.5m and finish on 242.8 points.
Marita Kramer maintained her lead in the overall World Cup standings after placing third.
