Kings Of Convenience – “Rocky Trail”
Kings Of Convenience, the Norwegian folk duo made up of Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe, have just released their first new song in 12 years, “Rocky Trail.” It’s the lead single from their fourth album, which is called Peace Or Love and will be out in June it’s their first since 2009’s Declaration Of Dependence. It comes on the heels of their debut album, Quiet Is The New Loud, turning 20 later this year.

After an incredibly hard year, we re more than a little excited that the soothing folk harmonies of Kings of Convenience are coming back into our lives. Out of nowhere, the long-gone Norwegian duo have announced a new album and given us their first new song in more than a decade.
The album is called
Peace or Love, and it will arrive on June 18 via EMI Records. Right now, though, we have the song Rocky Trail.
The song picks up exactly where the band left off all those years back, with Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe weaving effortless harmonies, plucking acoustic strings and just the right amount of orchestral colour.
