The Atkins Tent Revival is Trondheim's newest addition to its genre, and they have come to spread The Gospel of Good times!<br />Led by singer/songwriter Ben Atkins, the band offers songs with elements from blues, country, soul, jazz, ranchera, folk, R&B, hip hop, gospel and rock to take the audience by storm with their unique sound. The band has its roots in Texas and Buenos Aires, but is now established in Norway with a new line-up that includes Ulf Lundgren on lead guitar, Trude Heggstad on keyboards, Aasmund Sivertsen on bass and Eirik Fagerslett on drums.<br />The songs take you on anecdotal journeys from light-hearted comedy to existential heartache. The lyrics seek contact with the listener by painting pictures of universal experiences such as love, loneliness, financial challenges and the basic human need for partying and fun.
