JOHANNESBURG - Water will gradually be restored to the City of Joburg, Rand West, Merafong and Mogale City municipalities from Monday.
Residents have been experiencing water cuts due to a power supply failure at the Eikenhof Booster Pumping station.
This affected water pumping capacity in these areas. Because it is winter, the consumption isn t as high as it could ve been in summer, meaning that we can replenish our reservoirs quicker, provided consumers don t consume as much, said Eddie Singo from Rand Water.
