Queenslanders are facing an anxious wait today after a woman infected with COVID-19 in Sydney toured the State s southeast.
The new case is connected to Sydney s Northern Beaches cluster which now includes 28 positive cases of COVID-19, with more infections to be announced today.
The woman arrived at the Brisbane Airport on Wednesday before being picked up by a hire car at Boondall.

The case then headed to lunch at the Glen Hotel in Eight Mile Plains before travelling to the Sunshine Coast.
A hotel, Hungry Jacks and Coles Express are among the locations visited by a Sydney who visited Queensland and tested positive to COVID-19.
Anyone who has been in these venues at these dates and times should monitor their health and if they develop any COVID-19 symptoms, even mild, get tested and isolate until they receive their test results.
The updated list of locations was released by Queensland Health this afternoon.
