Negotiators from nearly 200 countries have gathered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for the two-week COP28 conference in an effort to curb greenhouse gas emissions and avoid the worst ravages of climate change. University of Michigan experts are available to comment.

Eichler Clark would sheer the wool off sheep, show off sheep at the Huron Community Fair, and belonged to 4-H when she lived on the farm. Other work in taking care of these sheep involved carrying five-gallon buckets of fresh water and hay and cleaning the stalls and pens of the sheep. She remembers how every February, she and her brothers were excited if there were any babies.
