(Spring Fire Department) SPRING, Texas – Firefighters in Spring received an interesting call involving two Egyptian Geese whose two babies fell in a drain. In a tweet sent by the Spring Fire Department, firefighters said they were called to attempt a rescue of two baby geese who fell in a drain while following their parents at the Lakes of Cypress Forest Tuesday evening. Photos on Twitter showed firefighters attempting to rescue both baby geese. One of the goslings did not survive. The fire department said Egyptian Geese usually return to the area every year to have their babies.
