Egypt: Family of detained lawyer Hoda Abdelmonem say they are not permitted to visit

February 25, 2021 at 2:18 pm | Published in: Africa, Egypt, News Hoda Abdelmonem [FadwaKhaled/Facebook] February 25, 2021 at 2:18 pm The family of detained lawyer Hoda Abdelmonem has issued a statement to say they have been denied visitation rights. It comes in response to a statement published on the social media accounts of the Interior Ministry which claimed Hoda is regularly visited by her family. We are truly shocked by these allegations which proves that the regime has no real intentions to provide the family even the most basic rights of communication with Hoda. Hoda has been imprisoned since 1 November 2018 without getting any single visit either from the family or lawyer.
