„These changes represent a continuation of the operational and management optimisation processes that we initiated earlier this year. We are grateful to Raimonda, under whose leadership the companies of SBA Furniture have overcome many challenges and crises – from the pandemic that disrupted raw materials logistics chains, to the electricity prices shocks, to the aftermath of the Ukraine war. Efficiency, innovation and strategic development will remain the company's priorities when Jurgita takes over the helm,“ said Egidijus Valentinavičius, the SBA Vice President and the Chairman of the Board of SBA Home.
„In order to increase operational efficiency, we have decided to streamline the management structure of furniture companies, and grant even more powers to executives. In addition to their normal production-related activities, company directors will now assume a number of functions in the area of business development. As we modify and optimise the existing management structure, we expect that these changes will further enhance the sense of ownership and our competitive advantage,“ says SBA Vice President Egidijus Valentinavičius.
"Even in a challenging time for our business, we have been able to complete strategic projects that lay a solid foundation for increasing our competitiveness in global furniture markets. Last year's investment in SBA Furniture, which was 1.5 times higher than in 2021 and amounted to €72 million, was the largest in the history of the SBA Group. Most of it was invested in the two now operational factories - Inno Line and Kauno Baldus. We are not stopping after the completion of these projects and have decided on new strategic projects which we will take up as soon as the economic situation improves," says Egidijus Valentinavičius, Vice President of SBA Group.
