STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Indoor dining in New York City can reopen on Valentine’s Day, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Friday.
Beginning on Feb. 14, restaurants in the five boroughs will be able to serve customers indoors at 25% of their capacity.
He said the announcement comes as the state registered its lowest coronavirus (COVID-19) positivity rate, 4.65%, since Dec. 11, as the post-holiday surge the state has experienced since Thanksgiving continues to reduce.
