2 arrested for drug trafficking in Holyoke raid

HOLYOKE – Two men were arrested and large quantities of crack cocaine and heroin were seized during a raid on a home in the Flats neighborhood Wednesday morning.
The search came after a joint investigation into suspected drug trafficking by Holyoke Police working with the FBI Western Massachusetts Gang Task Force, Holyoke Police Capt. Matthew Moriarty said.
Law enforcement received a search warrant and raided a home at 43 Mosher St., at about 9 p.m. They seized 34.2 grams of crack cocaine and 30.35 grams of heroin, the equivalent of about 1,210 bags of the drugs, he said.
